The European servers have a couple of additional tweaks coming their way, and this time, they've got some good news and bad news. On the good side, people will be receiving proper credit for using the Ashtongue Ruse now, but on the other hand, Jaina and Thrall are getting a serious case of weakening.
Here's the hotfix info straight from Ommra:
- Players with divine shield and similar immunities will now correctly receive credit for the quest "The Ashtongue Ruse."
- The on-use abilities of the Commander's Badge, Captain's Badge, and Ancient Cornerstone Grimoire can no longer be used while in an Arena.
- The effectiveness of Lady Jaina Proudmoore and Thrall in Caverns of Time: The Battle for Mount Hyjal has been greatly reduced.
The last change ties into the Mount Hyjal changes planned for future releases. As a temporary fix to keep players from losing their loot in the event that an NPC kills a boss, they've weakened the Thrall and Jaina NPCs to be less effective in battle. Players will have to be extra careful with those two around, but the tweak to the gameplay shouldn't be so difficult as to be insurmountable, at least for well-organized raids.
