World of Warcraft
's Europe chapter has just received an update regarding its current login problem, according to an announcement at their official forums. Going into details on the report, Blizzard spokesman Aeus first announced the problem at 14:28 p.m. CEST, when players reported they could not log into the game. Going into further details on the incident:
  • Update - 22:00 CEST: We are currently experiencing some problems with some of our realms, which are preventing players from logging into the game. There is currently no ETA for when we expect to have this problem resolved, however we are looking into the problem and we will keep you updated when we have more information available.
  • Update - 21:15 CEST: This should be resolved now.
  • Update - 18:00 CEST: I'm very sorry, but the issue wasn't resolved yet. The new ETA is 20:00 CEST.
  • Update - 15:30 CEST: One realm, Chromaggus, is still in limbo. We've been working on it and we hope to have it back between 17:00 and 18:00 CEST.
  • Update - 15:00 CEST: This is now resolved.
  • 14:28 CEST: We are aware that some players are currently experiencing issues logging in. We’re investigating as we speak and will let you know when we have more information.
We advise affected players to wait until either Blizzard updates the situation, or when the your realms comes back on. Matters should be cleared up soon, although we also advise players to stay alert in case this problem arises again - nothing worse than getting DC-killed during an instance.
