We've seen a lot of weird and annoying things - alongside the fun stuff, of course - in the years we've played the World of Warcraft. Well, we've got another one whilst trolling the WoW Europe Forums. Players over at the Priest forums noticed a change in the sound effect when they cast Power Word: Shield.

According to the players, the sound is really not so pleasant when compared to the old one. Some players thought it sounds like somebody casting Hammer of Wrath - and looked around for the non-existent paladin. Anyway, Blizzard poster Slorkuz gave some soothing news: "We can confirm that the sound change for PW: Shield is in fact a bug and will be fixed in an upcoming patch."

Whew, that's a relief. We can't say the same to Warlocks though, they still have to endure hearing "Let's get this party started!" every so often.
