While the World of Warcraft community in America will be experiencing their new weekly maintenance schedule this Tuesday, March 13, we bring a similar update for WoW's European community. According Blizzard spokesman Thundgot over at the WoW Europe official forums:
Tomorrow, Wednesday March 14th, there will be a “live” maintenance. This means that we will only be doing rolling restarts of all realms. We will be shutting off all realms at 5am CET instead of the usual 4:45am CET, giving all players fifteen minutes notice. We expect this live maintenance to last between 1 and 1.5 hours.
Now, in case everybody is wondering what else is in store for WoW Europe after this short server downtime, here's a brief list of the scheduled fixes to be taking place come every weekly maintenance: - Week 1: Rolling restarts (we're currently here)
- Week 2: Maintenance
- Week 3: Patch and maintenance
- Week 4: Rolling restarts
- Week 5: Maintenance
- Week 6: Rolling restarts
Consider this a rough guide for your next few Wednesdays, although Thundgot advises everybody to be aware of any unexpected patch releases - these will require realm downtime, which will in turn reset the listed schedule above. Set your watches, and stay sharp.
