World of Warcraft's Death Knight - Image 1As you guys have probably heard, World of Warcraft's upcoming Death Knight might be available for all of Azeroth's playable races. And as this new hero class builds up hype for WoW's Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the questions revolving around it can only get more technical.

One fine example is Ectrion's post asked about a point regarding the DK: If the account's character that unlocked the DK was from the Alliance, can the DK be used as a Horde character?

Blizzard blue-texter Bornakk dropped by later to say that at the moment, the DK will only be accessible according to the faction/realm of the character that unlocked it. So in effect, while all races can make a bid for a DK, if you want a Horde DK, you'll have to go through the quest chain again with your Horde character. Keep in mind that this is still subject to change - as Bornakk states - and we might be looking at future changes in the near future.
