WoW Forums: Clarification on the AQ40 bug mounts - Image 1As many a World of Warcraft old-timer (we use the term loosely) will tell you, one of the parts about the old Ahn'Qiraj raids was getting to ride those cool-looking Qiraji bug mounts.

As fun as they were, however, the mounts are strictly for use within the AQ40 instance. This has lead to numerous requests from the players to make them usable in the rest of Azeroth. So, are Blizzard's devs considering this as a possibility? Apparently not, according to a reply made by Bornakk during a recent inquiry:

We have seen requests for this in the past but we don't have any plans currently to implement this and they were never intended to be used outside of the dungeon they dropped in.

Now, if you're serious about riding one of the bug mounts, there's always the prospect of just running AQ40 again. Just remember that you'll have to revert to your usual ride when you lave the grounds. Visit us again in case we pick up any related updates.
