The last report we had about World of Warcraft Arena season 3 gear was when Tom Chilton, also known as Kalgan, announced new gear in patch 2.3. The update today centers on the upcoming veteran gear.

Doogruka from the WoW Forums asked for information about the said veteran gear. Fellow player Morrigan offered some info and said that veteran's pieces will be available "in a new flavor" called Vindicator. The helpful player added that Gladiator pieces from Arena season 1 can be purchased with honor points.

Blizzard poster Bornakk also dropped by the said thread and said:

Sounds right, just keep in mind that patch 2.3 and season 3 may not start on the same date, we'll have to wait and see. We have said that we plan to give a two week notice on the start of season 3.
