WoW Forums duscussion: How does Gruul slay dragons? - Image 1 In the lore of World of Warcraft MMORPG, Gruul the Dragonkiller is probably the most popular known Gronn around. And everybody familiar with WoW knows the Gronns are considered to be immortal demi-gods of the Ogre race.

Gruul, for those of you who are yet to encounter him, is the final boss of the raid dungeon Gruul's Lair in the Blade's Edge Mountains. Out of curiosity or even sheer terror perhaps, some players in the official World of Warcraft Forums are wondering how exactly does Gruul, or the whole Gronn race for that matter, is able to defeat dragons.

While Gronns are very powerful beings, they are not exactly known for range attacks. Blizzard forum moderator Bornakk provided this rather humorous but true insight, "Dragons fly in the sky laughing at Gruul on the ground. Gruul grows to size 50, grabs them from the sky and throws them at the nearest wall."

In actuality, Gruul can perform a self-buff that increases his size by 10% which can stack for a total of 30 times. It is needless to say that Gruul the Dragonkiller wouldn't be called that if he indeed isn't capable of slaying one with ease. The next time you plan on going into Blade Edge's Mountains, be sure that you are prepared because you are likely to encounter this demi-god.
