World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade - Illidan Stormrage - Image 1

Yesterday, we heard that a new PVE realm, dubbed Ghostlands, has been set up on the US side of the World of Warcraft servers. Quite a number of players raised questions regarding the new realm on the WoW Forums and Blizzard poster Drysc dropped by the said thread to answer the queries.

The opening post noted that the name is a bit ironic and well, it somewhat is considering WoW's population problems. Anyway, Drysc reiterated that the Ghostlands is a PVE server, which is now open for character migration.

And since character migrations to the said server is still ongoing (until February 7), it is closed for character creation. Another thing you might want to know about the spanking new server is that it's on Central time and is a member of the Retaliation Battlegroup.

Drysc also explained stuff like the faction balance, the possibilities of transferring from between factions and between PVP and PVE servers, and relative population so you might want to take a look at the thread by clicking the via link below.
