They're mad about badges - Image 1For some players in Blizzard's World of Warcraft, heroic badge loot items are a wee bit unfair. Others believe Warriors actually get the short end of the stick, and that's what caught our attention.

One WoW Forum poster going by the name Perfection asked why there are no one-handed swords and one-handed axes as heroic badge loot. The level 70 Tauren Warrior from World of Warcraft is worried that discrimination against fury wars may worsen, which he'll suffer if he opts to train his fist weapons.

As usual, there was a timely response from Blizzard poster Slorkuz. He explained that heroic badge loot items were deliberately selected "to cater more towards some of the less desirable specs." He defined the decision as "a way to encourage players to use those specs; such as daggers for rogues, axes for warriors, etc."
