World of Warcraft Arena Tournament - Image 1World of Warcraft Arena Tournament participants are all busy preparing for battle and more time was allotted them for practice. Of course, players have their own definitions of "practice." Some would rather practice alone, while others would enlist practice buddies to hone their skills.

Deamion from the WoW Forums raised an interesting suggestion/observation about the lack of "solo practice" or NPC opponents at Arena Tournament practice. The player mentioned that fighting against NPCs would take away the trash talk and players can try out their characters in relative peace. Here's what Blizzard CM Bornakk had to say about it:

Generally speaking the mechanics and actions of a fight against an NPC is pretty different compared to PvP fighting. The skirmish Arena modes are available for you to get practice in and get used to all of the options your character has available.

That said we will consider this for the future but I can't make any guarantees on it.

As Bornakk said, PvP and PvE tactics are very different from each other, so it really wouldn't be too effective tactics-wise to practice on NPCs. If you're going to try out the character's skills and talents though, it sounds like a neat idea. More news from the WoW Arena Tournament battle front as they happen, so stay tuned.
