The Caverns of Time - Image 1Over on World of Warcraft's Under Development page, Blizzard recently announced that a future patch would implement a new portal that'll connect to the Caverns of Time and will be available through reputation.

Groat of Gorefiend was wondering about the new portal though, and asked for some helpful clarifications regarding the issue. Specifically, he asked if it was meant for mages only, whether Shattrath would get a portal for it too, and whether or not you would required Revered or Exalted reputation to use it.

Blizzard CM Nethaera decided to shoot back a reply with an explanation regarding some aspects of the upcoming portal:

It will be available for anyone with the appropriate reputation. We plan to make it as easily accessible to everyone as possible, but you will still need to get a sufficient amount of reputation (easily gained ) before being able to use it.

As you can see from the above response, the portal to the Caverns of Time will be made available to players so long as they have the adequate amount of reputation for it. It's certainly good news to all of us who don't play mages, at least.
