Midsummer Night Festival - Image 1

Last month, June 21, World of Warcraft saw the beginning of the Midsummer Fire Festival, which commemorates the hottest season of the year. And while many a player has enjoyed the festivities this celebration offers by way of quests, loot, parties and mini-games, we're reminding you guys that the best is definitely saved for this July 4.

The evening of this fourth of July will see WoW having its very own light-show by way of the Fire in the Sky event. Every hour on the hour tonight, expect a grand fireworks display to be seen in all the major cities of Azeroth, brought to you by th game's brood of goblins. It's about 6:30-ish on our watches here - just log in and see if you can catch the pretty lights before you head out on your next adventure, or wander off to check on the recently fixed areas in-game.
