WoW: contrasting Karazhan with Molten Core - Image 1We stumbled upon a blog post today concerning World of Warcraft (WoW), The Burning Crusade, and the looming feeling that the new expansion is in a lot way not better than the original game. Just read on and ask yourself if you share the blogger's sentiment.

Accordingly, it seems that raiding isn't fun anymore in the MMO video game's expansion. It was noted that many players, especially the good ones, are able to kill several bosses in Karazhan but complain that the loot is not that rewarding. Players also feel that each raid costs them a lot. The not successful ones, on the other hand, can't get pass Moroes.

With these sentiments in mind, some players can't help but remember Molten Core - the lair of the Fire Lord Ragnaros deep inside the heart of Blackrock Mountain. The point is, at least for Tobold, it feels like The Burning Crusade is lacking that middle ground where players will stay and enjoy until the next expansion by 2008.

It is now being suggested that Blizzard make the raiding a lot cheaper by making potions less prominent. It is understood that this will definitely hurt alchemists and herbalists but what other options do we have? Blizzard made it so that raiding is something costly, hard, and not very profitable.

Any suggestions?
