 The Shamans over at World of Warcraft's Public Test Realms are reporting that there seems to be a problem with their DPS ability shortly after several new changes were introduced with patch 2.3.0. As Aaoogaa explained over at the forums, there appears to be a bug in the class's Elemental tree given their greatly decreased damage-dealing capabilities:
DPS down 20% from live in top end gear.
Maximum burst down 25% from live in top end gear.
Minimum burst down 10% from live in top end gear.
This is referred to as a buff to the spec...this must be bugged since Blizzard would not lie directly to the player base.
When will this bug be addressed in 2.3 for proper testing?
Blizzard Blue-texter Eyonix dropped by the thread to state that the devs are looking into the matter. Keep posted in case related updates are announced in the near future.
