Blizzard has recently updated World of Warcraft's patch 2.3 over at the Public Test Realms forums with another new build. Among other important tweaks, one that's been confirmed by moderator Vaneras is a major revamp to the paladin's Season 3 armor. Based on a report via MMO-Champion We'll be following up with several more changes that appear to have taken effect, including the introduction of new PvP trinkets, new class skills, and new S3 armor characteristics:
- New PvP Trinkets have been added. They all cost 30000 Honor Points + 40 Alterac Valley marks. (The Heroic Badges rewards have been renamed to the same name, and are still available for 75 [Badge of Justice]Badge of Justice Binds when picked up Requires Level 70)
- The AV and Eye of the Storm daily quests now reward 4000 honor points.
- Priests: New talent in Discipline Tree - Focused Will
- Druid: Changes on the [Vengeful Gladiator's Refuge] (Healing) set have been reverted, Spirit has been changed back to MP5
- Shaman: [Vengeful Gladiator's Wartide] (Healing) has been changed, the equip bonus on gloves has been modified and the (4) set bonus slightly reduced.
- You now need 5 players to start the event in Zul'aman.
- Hardware sound is back
- As mentioned in the patch notes, you can now drop an Azure Whelpling on elite blue drakes in Azshara
We imagine the guys are looking especially happy at the revamped Alterac Valley/Eye of the Storm rewards, given that the Honor point gain's now more than double. Hopefully, this will push more players to enter the arena scene. We'll let you know in case Blizzard makes another PTR update - the turnover getting noticeably faster lately.
