A lot of gamers have been waiting for World of Warcraft's Patch 2.4, or at least, more info on what's to come. Although we've been given some updates, Blizzard has promised more "mind-blowing" stuff yet to come.
Though we might not see this info come in a flash, at least we know it's coming soon. The patch's development information is already being compiled, last we heard. Still, some gamers are a tad impatient.
Gamer Shallah asked for more information of Patch 2.4 in the World of Warcraft forums, saying that the info will be the deciding factor of whether or not he will renew his account. Blizzard poster Nethaera responded:
We have information in the works, but I'd caution people that it's not going to be today or even Monday, but we have plans and are working to put things together that will hopefully make the wait worthwhile.
I'd also caution people about getting their expectations up in regard to "sweeping class changes". Again, we have many things in the works and a definite plan of action that we will share with you all more as we progress.
[...] Don't supplant someone's fantasy patch notes for the real ones in your heads. It will only end in tears on so many fronts.
There you have it folks. Let's be patient for Patch 2.4 info - it's coming. At the least, you can opt to take Nethaera's advice and not raise your expectations for class changes. It doesn't mean it won't happen, but Blizzard may have decided to focus on other things.
