Seriously. Who the hell decided to give this as a baseline ability to the highest single target DPS in the game? WTF were you retards smoking? As if Chain stunning wasn't enough, these bastards can completely NEGATE the magical dmg being done to them AND ALSO practically become immune to it for a period of time long enough for them to simply kill you. Who the hell though this up? Rogues are caster killers, one of our baseline abilities is removed(vanish) when we get a single dot on us and we have no way to cleanse it. 4 sec immunity out of 1 min, thats 56 seconds we are not immune to magical damage, and you are a pally, a HUMAN pally at that, you still have melee damage(maybe not much, but still) and there is also perception |

The way I see it, in PvP , there's a very rough rock/paper/scissors formula.
Plate , being very resilient to physical attacks will most likely win to a less armored melee class (Warrior -> Rogue)
Leather , the armor class does not matter when fighting casters. They have the exact same amount of "armor" as plate has against them, have better burst DPS than plate, and seeing as their physical damages deals almost full damage against cloth, they are most likely to win against spellcasters using Cloth. (Rogue -> Warlock)
Cloth , even though plate wearers deal full damage against cloth, the oposite is also true. Spells hurts platewearers more then anything. They are most likely to win against Plate wearers. (Warlock -> Warrior)
Note that this is more a design direction that i believe Blizzard has taken then something that always holds true. A well played Rogue might defeat a Warrior for example. So there's a lot of moving space within the Rock/Paper/Scissors.
Rogues, being the Scissors, and Spellcasters being Paper. It would only make sense to give the Rogue a way to defend himself against spells, hence CloS.
I'm writing all of this down to make a point that a rogue SHOULD have an advantage over a spellcaster. 5 seconds of spell immunity is a lot, and a 1 minute CD is very short, but i believe it's acceptable if you bear in mind that rogues are supposed to take out casters.. Finally, If you get killed in 5 seconds by a rogue, you're most likely doing something wrong.
Spells hurts platewearers more then anything....
