And it's not just for a cosmetics change either. Blizzard is looking into the innards of the World of Warcraft Shaman class to address certain issues such as threat level modifiers to the Elemental Shaman builds and mana efficiency. Aside from that there is little else revealed.
In an earlier thread in the WoW Forums, Ommra spilled some info about the class review, although it was in a thread regarding a sound issue with the Elemental Chain Lightning skill. Ommra has been optimistic about a possible improvement to the class, although certain player-specific requests for crowd control (or lack thereof), tweaking of the Enhancement Shaman builds and a Shaman-specific flying form skill have yet to be responded to.
We'll keep you posted as Blizzard gives out more information regarding the Shaman tinkering.
