Shadow of War Box - Image 1 When we mention World of Warcraft game updates, don't think Blizzard is working on another Burning Crusade tweak. With that said, we step out of WoW's online realm into something more traditional - the WoW board game.

Fantasy Flight Games' tabletop incarnation of the Warcraft franchise has recently received an update of its own, in way of the Shadow of War expansion. Here are the new features included in the bundle:

  • Ten new talents and ten new powers for all nine character classes;
  • Nearly 200 new item cards;
  • Destiny Cards telling the sweeping epic that is your adventure in Azeroth;
  • New blue quests that focus on the independent blue monsters.
The package sells for US$ 19.99 bucks, and should give gamers something new to try out in the event of another server down. And if you already have the BC collector's edition and your own trading card set, pop this in your collection for effect. And the best part? None of them danged loot ninjas are here.
