World of Warcraft players may be getting something else to collect, in addition to the TCG version of Blizzard's über-popular MMORPG. The recent announcement of DC Unlimited's release of a line of WoW action figures seems to point towards the possibility of a comic book.

The announcement describes the newly-minted DC Unlimited brand as a line that seeks to "license and promote the world's greatest pop culture characters and stories." Put emphasis on that last word ("stories" in case you're one of those people who never finish reading sentences), and it seems likely that we'll soon be seeing a mini-series or something similar.

We think this would be welcomed by both WoW fanatics and those who have yet to play the game. A comic book would seem to be one of the most accessible ways to bring the whole WoW experience to an expanded fanbase. What do you think?
