World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade - Image 1

Well, this might be a bit late but you'll be glad to know that all the World of Warcraft realms are now up and running from yesterday's rolling restarts. Here's the long and short of it:

Amprial, a Blizzard senior Game Master announced that rolling restarts will be issued to all realms yesterday at 5 A.M. PDT and assured players that the downtime will be minimal. Unfortunately, the maintenance went longer than expected as "there were some errors that have prompted some additional troubleshooting," said Nethaera.

There was additional trouble when some realms were marked available but weren't. Thankfully, the problem was eventually fixed and players can now hunt at their leisure. Wonder what the errors were about. Will we be experiencing more problems once the latest huge patch goes live?
