WoW exploit - the 53-second Void Reaver kill - Image 1 A boss kill in less than a minute, from World of Warcraft's Tempest Keep raid instance? As crazy as that sounds, it did happen, and the boss that did the dying is reportedly the Void Reaver over at TK's Eye. This attempt was pulled off by a priest from the raiding guild who had Mind-controlled a nearby Tempest-Smith.

The MC'd mob was then used to bomb-spam all of Void Reaper's 4,750,000 HP into smithereens. Member pladin of the guild that pulled off this attempt posted a screenshot as proof (click on it to enlarge). Before you try to head out to see if you can break this current record, however, be warned that even Blizzard's blue-texter Tharfor over at the WoW Europe forums already got word of the kill, and made some very important clarifications:

This topic is the result of a known issue in the game mechanics. Use of this issue in this fashion is considered an exploit and I strongly discourage you from using it in order to avoid any repercussions on your account.

Rest assured that issues such as this will be resolved in order to remove the temptation. :)

It remains to be seen how Blizzard will specifically attempt to prevent this exploit from happening again. Until then, you'll want to take the hard way in defeating the brute.
