Naxxramas armor sets for WotLK - Image 1With Naxxramas transferring to the Northrend region when World of Warcraft's Wrath of the Lich King launches, expect plenty of changes to occur. One tweak that's apparently being looked over by the players is Naxx's Tier 3 armor set, which currently stands as an 8-piece set. As Faign over at the forums asked:

With WotLK on the horizon and the announced Naxx as the first 25 man dungeon, what is going to happen to the 9 piece set if the models are to be reused. I mean granted the most interesting parts of any set in terms of looks are: helm, shoulders, chest, pants, gloves, and boots and in the 5 piece sets we have all of those but the boots.

Is the tier that Naxx will hold going to be a 5 piece set or more? Any one hear anything...?

Blue-texter Bornakk dropped by the thread later to explain that Blizzard was planning to re-use the original Naxx Tier 3 models for WotLK. At the moment, however, Bornakk did state that the developers were far more busy with finalizing other WotLK content before tackling this specific issue. We'll let you know if any further details turn up.
