Given that World of Warcraft's patch 2.3 is confirmed to be revising talents for all of the classes, some players are wondering if character respecs are in order.

Or more specifically, if the devs were willing to grant free talent resets in light of the astronomical amounts of gold required for you to normally reset. Blizzard's Bornakk dropped by this query thread over at the forums with some rather blue news (and we don't mean just the text):

We have no current plans to provide a free talent reset with patch 2.3. Keep in mind the PTRs should be available for awhile and we will continue to monitor and make changes if they are needed.
