Whether WoW armor looks cool or not is a matter of taste - Image 1If you didn't like the armor designs in World of Warcraft, what would you do? One option is to let Blizzard know that you're looking for cooler-looking armor sets. That's what WoW player Bigstick did, although in a rather..."colorful" manner.

Interestingly opinions of various Blizzard forum members regarding WoW armor were mixed. Quite a few players thought that higher tier armor sets were simply palette-swapped versions of lower tier armor sets. Others thought that the T3 armor sets for some classes looked good while those of the other classes looked either mediocre or terrible.

While Bornakk admitted that Bigstick could have been more tactful, the Blizzard blue poster did say something about better-looking armor in the upcoming expansion:

While this post is more of a troll than any kind of constructive feedback, I will say that the armor sets in Wrath of the Lich King are looking awesome. People will always differ in opinions on what "looks cool" but there were many awesome designs in The Burning Crusade and the original World of Warcraft and we plan to continue developing as many new and exciting sets as we possibly can.

Perhaps beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.
