The Tomb of Sargeras holds a special place not only in the World of Warcraft lore, but in the Warcraft mythology in general. Basically, this place is part of the Temple of Elune - a deity being worshipped by the Night Elves.
However, the tomb was destroyed after Illidan visited it while searching for the Eye of Sargeras. Long-time World of Warcraft fans are now wondering if this connection will have enough merit for the tomb to be included as a dungeon in the upcoming expansion Wrath of the Lich King.
As much as this is an exciting proposition, it seems that it will not become a reality as of yet due to the fact that the place is nothing now but ruins. Blizzard forum moderator Bornakk agrees as he mentioned:
We have no current plans to add this place that was in Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne to the playable areas of World of Warcraft. If my memory serves me right, the place lays in ruins now after the events that happened during that game. Even though the place is in ruins, it still does exist and can be found on an eastern island in the Broken Isles to the east of Maelstrom. It may only be matter of time before Blizzard changes its mind about this.
