If you're looking for a machinima video that's a bit more traditional, then you'd do no better than the first episode of Joe C.'s 1337 Blood. Featuring quite a spirited effort in terms of animation and voice acting (as well as some genuinely funny moments), this one shouldn't be missed if you're looking for a quick laugh or two.

So, what is 1337 Blood all about? It tells of the adventure of young Magnus, a Mage aspirant. Unfortunately, things start to go wrong even at the very start, with the Elf declared as a Paladin on Class Assignment Day.

This doesn't go well with Magnus, predictably, and he sets off on a quest to make his dreams come true. That is, to become an actual Mage. Hijinks ensue in the World of Warcraft, Blizzard's MMORPG.

While this is obviously the first machinima that Joe C. made, it definitely shows a lot of promise, and we expect great things from this machinima maker. You have to start somewhere, right? Enjoy the video!
