Forum moderator Nethaera has announced that patch 2.2 in Blizzard's World of Warcraft will be going live after this week's maintenance barring any unforeseen circumstances. The news came out over at the official WoW Forums.

This certainly is great news for everyone who has been waiting for this to come out. This particular patch adds a lot of in-game content such as new gear, updated equipment, few job tweaks, and voice chat.

While everything will be up and running when it does get implemented, expect voice chat to still be staggered when this patch comes out.
