New video options for WoW PTR - Image 1  


Apparently, another unannounced change was picked up for World of Warcraft's game patch 2.3 over at the Public Test Realms forums. As Bluspacecow elaborated, several new video options were reportedly available for tweaking in a Mac version of WoW - see Bluspacecow screenshot above to get a better idea. Blizzard blue-texter Tigerclaw visited the inquiry thread a little later to add some further clarifications:

This isn't a platform specific change, the options dialog has been re-laid out to make it easier to understand what each option does. All the old variables are still available in config.wtf but some of them are now controlled in different ways.

As we said earlier, this change wasn't included in the patch 2.3 notes, so we hope Tigerclaw's explanation will clear up any similar inquiries you've got regarding this topic.
