No threat reduction for World of Warcraft Paladins in 2.3 - Image 1Quite a few World of Warcraft Paladins on the official forums felt slighted when the class didn't receive a threat reduction for their spells. The outcry has expectedly been louder from the Retribution side of the class since they are the ones who will be reaping most  of the benefits from this buff.

Blizzard Community Manager Drysc addressed this angry group of holy warriors saying that they gave the Ret Pallys a few "nice damage increases" in patch 2.3. He added that Blizzard is still looking at the possibility of adding a passive threat reduction to the class.

Drysc explained, however, that they want to see how the current changes they've implemented are working out before they make any further modifications. With that said, Retributions Paladins will have to be contented for now with the damage bonuses they're getting.

Hopefully, Blizzard does lower the threat done by these warriors to make them viable in a Raid not only as a healer but as a potential secondary DPS character.
