World of Warcraft players are reporting over at Blizzard's official forums for the MMORPG that the Skywing Escort quest is bugged. According to reports, the quest stops after jumping down to the bottom tower at the arakkoa encampment.

WoW Quality Assurance member Wilhelmas picked up the thread and responded that "this is a known issue and a fix will be included in an upcoming patch."

As much as this is good news, we figured that some of you can't wait for the patch and want to finish this quest already. Luckily, some players were able to find a workaround to this bug. Player Brazish shared the following solution:

While this does need a fix there is a simple work-around. Kill the mobs on the lower level before skywing gets to them. The glitch seems to be that he agros on them from the higher platform and can't path back up to the upper platform after killing them.

It took me several tries to get this right. I finally cleared the lower platform and then started the quest. Alternatively have a friend keep that lower platform clear for you. It was a lot of trial and error but miniwing was worth it.
