World of Warcraft crisis averted through timely realm restart - Image 1If you're a World of Warcraft player on the Black Dragonflight realm, you might have experienced some relatively short downtime yesterday. Apparently, Blizzard had to restart the realm on short notice, leaving the playing populace wondering what just happened.

Here's Blizzard's explanation for the downtime, as written by Blizzard representative Varidarel:

Our apologies for the short notice, but we have restarted the realm Black Dragonflight in order to address a performance issue.

However, Black Dragonflight is once again back up, and available for play. Once again, we do apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

It's good to know that Black Dragonflight is once again available to play on, though we're a bit curious as to what performance problem was noticed by the folks at Blizzard. In any event, we hope the denizens of Black Dragonflight enjoy their improved gaming experience.
