As you guys probably reckoned, today marks the beginning for World of Warcraft's highly anticipated Brewfest event for the start of October. Aside from the celebrations, however, we're reminding everybody that Blizzard has also slipped in WoW's game patch 2.2.2. The patch was required to begin the Brewfest event, although it's unclear what other changes this patch may also include.

We've already checked the forums, and one of the more interesting possibilities may be a fix for the previously reported weapon bug players experienced during a run at the Kael'thas instance. This speculation was later disproved, though, so we'll have to wait for more official word from Blizzard's posters. In the meantime, make sure to enjoy the day's plentiful supply of booze!
