WoW's release spirit window bugged, Blizzard issues temporary solution - Image 1Player Amad of the Bleeding Hallow realm in World of Warcraft has posted a bug report over at the official forums for the game. According to the level 70 Warlock, the release spirit window does not come up at times leaving characters dead.

It's a good thing, however, that Blizzard community manager Hortus was patrolling the forums and saw the thread. The blue poster acknowledged the problem and provided the following explanation as well as a temporary solution:

This is a known issue (I just added it to the list) and will be fixed in an upcoming patch. Until it is fixed you can use the following script command to release your spirit: "/script RepopMe()".

Aside from that, Hortus also said the players with dead characters can also wait for six minutes if they want to release their spirit. Apparently, that is the time needed for the auto-release command to execute.

That's about it for now and don't forget to check back here at QJ.NET for your daily dose of World of Warcraft updates.
