Blizzard's World of Warcraft MMORPG - Image 1Community Manager Bornakk has detailed a few of the changes that Blizzard plans on implementing in the World of Warcraft Battleground Alterac Valley once patch 2.4 goes live.

Most of the changes deal with the balance problem that the alliance players have been complaining about.

The first change to be implemented is the moving of the Horde's starting tunnel back to a more equal distance to the Alliance's tunnel. In addition, Balinda Stonehearth's damage has been given a significant boost, eliminating the need for a life buff on both her and General Vanndar Stormpike.

The last change is a stacking buff on both General and Warmasters for each faction boosting their health and damage. This is a bit complicated so here is Bornakk's explanation on this new addition:

The more of them that are still in the battleground, the more dangerous they will all be. This will put a greater focus on destroying (and defending!) the towers that remove the Warmasters as players work toward defeating the appropriate General and conquering the land.

These changes were done to ensure that both factions in the World of Warcraft Battleground have a more or less equal chance of winning the instance. Hopefully, these changes work and neither faction will complain about how one side had an advantage from the start.

 » Your kidding right?

I must be playing a different WoW game. Why would the alliance complain about AV, they win more significantly more than 50% of the time, it works to their blitz the boss style, and they gain 400+ honor compared to me getting around 200 honor a round. Speaking of moving things, why is it their archers can defend Storm Pike Aid Station, and horde archers cannot defned FW RH?
