World of Warcraft: Arena Tournament Phase 2 begins - Image 1

It appears that Blizzard is right on track with their World of Warcraft PvP Arena Tournament schedule. The company announced that the tourney's phase two began yesterday, June 17.

The second phase of the event's Second Qualification Round will be the competition phase, meaning that you're expected to have finalized your combat teams by now. Here are some of the other important details you will want to remember for Phase 2:
  • Every team will be reset to a 1500 rating and official rankings begin.
  • There will be a 150 team rating penalty for any player added to an arena team.
  • At the end of this phase all arena teams will be locked down and players will not be able to switch characters from arena teams.
  • Registration will also close at the end of this phase.
Phase 2 is expected to end on July 1, with Phase 3 kicking in right after. Consider this your last chance to build up some combat experience and hopefully earn a place among your Battlegroup's top four teams. Further details on the Arena mechanics are available at the WoW PvP Tournament site, via the source link below.
