Female blood elf mage as depicted in Blizzard's World of Warcraft - Image 1Despite promises of addressing the Arena queue time issue by patch 2.4, World of Warcraft players had to take an unbearable amount of time lining up just to get their daily dose of PvP loving.

The problem was first noted by WoW forum poster Tyveris, who mentioned that queues take as long as five to six minutes before any are processed. He even cited an instance where the waiting time stretched out as far as 15 minutes.

Many other forum goers rallied behind Tyveris' banner and looked to Blizzard for an immediate solution to this long-time issue plaguing the community. Fortunately, Blizzard Poster Ordinn made an appearance and tried to explain the situation to everyone.

After some time actively testing the queues, Ordinn mentioned that this wasn't a hardware problem and was merely a glitched setting in the code which they immediately fixed. He reassured everyone that the dev team will be monitoring the queues throughout the day and see if any further problems still occurred.

Hopefully, this will be the last we'll see of this rather annoying bug. Keep coming back to this spot for more updates on Blizzard's World of Warcraft.
