World of Warcraft badges of justice in Karazhan and Zul'Aman - Image 1It was recently announced in Blizzard's World of Warcraft that Badges of Justice will be a boss drop in both Zul'Aman and Karazhan. This news has alarmed many players who pointed out that this removes the purpose of heroic instances, adding that it'll also cause many players to flock the two areas to get the badges.

This shouldn't be the case according to Community Manager Bornakk as he explained that the addition of the badges is just an additional way of picking up the items. He pointed out that "people who run these dungeons will probably have free time outside of them as well if they want to pick up more. I guess it depends on how much you want the new items."

Players shouldn't worry so much about this considering heroics can be done on a daily basis while Karazhan can only be done once a week. No word on how often Zul'Aman will be reset but if Kara is to be the basis, we can expect it to be held weekly. There is little to no chance that the two raids will be replacing Heroics any time soon.
