World of Warcraft - Image 1There's been some hubbub down at the World of Warcraft forums when Julious inquired whether a report from the Public Test Realms is true. The report goes that the Daily Battleground Daily quest bonus now gives 4000 honor, double the previous amount of 2000.

After some commotion and discussion of what effect it could bring to the day to day life of the inhabitants of Azeroth, Blizzard poster Drysc finally gave a reply, saying that the report was false (or, at the least, miscommunicated). Drysc replied that:

It's off by a factor of 10. Battleground Daily quest bonus honor is supposed to be equivalent to 20 player kills at your level, ie 400 honor at level 70.

Julious took the news rather well. Instead of being disappointed, he notes that he's still happy with the number and that the new development only means that he "SHOULDN'T be avoiding BGs until the Patch." Probably a good idea.
