World of Warcraft: upcoming changes to Bloodlust/Heroism in 2.4 PTR - Image 1

A few days ago, Blizzard announced several new changes for World of Warcraft's Patch 2.4, including an adjustment to the Mage's Icy Veins spell. According to the notes, the spell will no longer stack with Bloodlust, Heroism, or Power Infusion.

It seems Blizzard had a change of heart with this decision. Or at least, a partial change of heart. According to Blizzard poster Drysc, Icy Veins will once again stack with Bloodlust and Heroism. However, the same is not true for Power Infusion:

The following changes have been made for a future PTR update:

    • Bloodlust/Heroism will, again, stack with Icy Veins.
    • Bloodlust/Heroism will not stack with Power Infusion, however.

The new rule being used to govern these changes is “non-self % based haste spells will not stack with each other. "
