World of Warcraft Bug Report: Druids can't skin while in flight form - Image 1

Unlike normal World of Warcraft articles, I have to start this article with a rant which has frustrated me and other players to no end.

Why does Blizzard even allow skinning in flight form? It is one of those things that make me shake in sheer rage. I imagine players screaming, "It's a freaking bird! It can't skin a Kodo Beast with its claws and beak! " And what's up with not allowing characters in feral form to gather herbs? Animals can do it just as well as humans can, if not better.

That said, some players have reported a bug which prevents them from skinning while in flight form. Blizzard Poster/QA Hortus has said that they should be able to do just that so he is asking some people from Blizzard to look into it.

There have been some WoW players who have been complaining about Druids being able to skin while mounted. This does introduce a certain imbalance to the game because of the time players have to spend dismounting to skin a creature then re-mounting again.

The community now is rather polarized on this issue of whether or not to allow Druids to keep the skinning skill. One thing most agree on would be the implementation of herbing in animal form. The guys at Blizzard are probably fixing the skinning issue as we speak, so those who actually want it will be getting it soon.

we druids can already herb in all forms except flight. skinning in flgiht form is just plain silly if i cant herb in flight form. Epic flight form allows for herbing but it has been labled as a bug and is being fixed in the next patch.
