If your character happens to have taken up the enchanting profession, then you've probably run into the same dilemma Woogle experienced in Europe's chapter of World of Warcraft.

The player reports that there's a disparity between the the skill requirements for learning the Void Shatter enchantment skill, and one of its requisite items, a Runed Eternium Rod.

Recently i achieved honoured with Shattered Sun on my enchanting character so quite quickly picked up the void shatter recipe and quickly a problem dawned upon me.

"Requires Runed Eternium Rod"

Now its my understanding you need a skill of 375 to craft a Runed Eternium Rod and its bind on pick up.

So why have a recipie that you need 360 skill to learn, but effectively you need 375 skill to even use. i find it annoying because now i have this enchant i cant use and i dont have the time, effort or the will to skill enchanting up to 375 because its wasted enough of my money as it is.

In case you're also finding the mechanics for the skills and its requisite regeants a little confusing, Slorkuz dropped by the thread to clarify that it's actually a game bug. Come patch 2.4.2's public release, The Void Shatter skill will now require 375 points worth of enchanting, just like the Runed Eternium Rod.

It's not exactly going to make getting Void shatter easier, as you can see, but this should at clear up any confusion the current skills reqs may have caused. Visit us again in case we receive any more related updates regarding this matter.
