World of Warcraft isn't always about raids, endless grinding of dailies  and whatnot. There's also a lighter side to all the hardcore MMO action that goes on outside of the game. We're talking about this month's winner of the World of Warcraft Comic Contest winner.

The winner of the April series of comic submissions goes to Tygwa, who depicted a very amusing strip regarding a defunct insurance claim against the undead plague (trust us, it's a lot funnier once you see the strip itself).

Several other comics selections were also commended as honorable mentions. While they won't receive the free swag for winning first place, the strips will still get recognition in the WoW Comic Contest's community section.

Tygwa will receive a copy of the World of Warcraft Battle Chest signed by both Vice President of Creative Development Chris Metzen and Art Director Chris Robinson, as well as a World of Warcraft 60 day pre-paid time card. With a new month settling in, we wonder if the next comic contest winner's entry will be just as enjoyable as this one.
