Blizzard's World of Warcraft MMORPG - Image 1Many veteran players look forward to the Feast of Winter Veil in World of Warcraft. Those who are excited to find out what this year's Christmas event brings will be happy to know that Blizzard has already announced this year's list of events and loot.

Players will be pleased to know that they will once again get a chance to pick up a preserved holly. Unlike previous Feasts of Winter Veil, these items can now be used on flying mounts to turn it into a reindeer.

More romantic players will be treated with a Handful of Snowflakes. This item is obtained by using the "/kiss" command on a Winter Reveler NPC. When used, it creates a light snowflake above a target player's head.

Like the previous Feast of Winter Veil, certain Burning Crusade bosses will be dressed in festive attire and will drop seasonal hats starting December 25. If you plan on paying any of them a visit, here's a list of all the bosses and their general locations:

  • Grand Warlock Netherkurse (Shattered Halls)
  • Grandmaster Vorpil (Shadow Labyrinth)
  • Exarch Maladaar (Auchenai Crypts)
  • Captain Skarloc (Durnholde Keep)
  • Nethermancer Sepethrea (Mechanar)
  • High Botanists Freywinn (Botanica)
Finally, good little boys and girls can expect to get a new Mechanotoy from the Winter Veil tree in Ironforge and Orgrimmar. This is a non-combat pet which follows its owner around. It looks pretty sweet, so we're sure pet collectors out there will probably be on the look out for these little babies.

Of course, the Feast of the Winter Veil has more events. Head on over to the official World of Warcraft website through our Via link to find out more.
