World of Warcraft: PLAYER_DEAD event confusion in Patch 2.4 - Image 1The recently released Patch 2.4 for World of Warcraft has brought in new things for players to enjoy. But along with the introduction of these things, some have left people confused.

Shurp from the Aman'Thul realm notice that PLAYER_DEAD event no longer was in effect after the Patch 2.4 was implemented. He surmised that this was replaced with UNIT_DIED  event which somehow doesn't seem to pop up when a player dies.

With this particular confusion that's being experienced, Blizzard QA Slouken managed to clear things up and finally set things straight. He said, "
Yes, UNIT_DIED is fixed for 2.4.2. PLAYER_DEAD works fine."

Did you guys read that? Things are definitely fine for the game. No need to worry silly. Having said that, do keep your eyes glued to this space for more helpful updates on this MMORPG.
