Brutallus - Image 1Some players on the World of Warcraft Public Test Realm (PTR) have found that the pitlord Brutallus, one of the raid bosses in the game, needs to be nerfed. The problem seems to come from the Burn skill which ticks at about 4,000 damage per second.

Blizzard's World of Warcraft lead designer Jeffrey Kaplan (Tigole) reiterated that in the next PTR push, Stomp will remove Burn. This little tweak should lessen the damage from Burn allowing players to deal with the boss much more easily.

The community reaction towards this announcement was generally positive, meaning that more than one player found Burn to be quite broken. Well, it's a good thing that the problem was found in the PTR considering the number of gamers this would have annoyed if it actually made it to the live servers.
