Blizzard's World of Warcraft MMORPG - Image 1 Even if you're new to World of Warcraft, you may have heard of the Public Test Realm or PTR. This area is where the developers try out new patches before releasing it on the actual live servers. While this is generally open to all users, some people have been having a hard time actually getting into the test servers.

For those experiencing problems, Blizzard Community Manager Vaneras took the time to release an FAQ on the PTR. Included in this compiled list are answers for the most common problems players have reported and the appropriate actions a player should take if it ever happens to them.

If you've been having a few technical difficulties with the PTR server, you might want to consider following our source link to the FAQ before posting a report to Blizzard. It'll save you and the company some time and probably get your client up and running so you can try out all the new features.
