World of Warcraft: Rolling Restarts for U.S. and Oceanic realms - Image 1A lot of us are very much into patch 2.4.3's latest changes for World of Warcraft's realms - the level 30-cap for mounts alone is already awesome - which just makes this news a bit of a downer. Blizzard poster Zarhym dropped by the WoW forums earlier to announce they will be implementing rolling restarts to WoW's servers today, July 16.

The restarts in North America will have started by now, while the Oceanic realms will be affected at around 12:00 p.m. PDT. The restarts are expected to last for 15 minutes for each server, while the entire process is expected to last for an hour.

For the players, this means you may want to park your toons at the closest friendly inn, and log out early to avoid any unexpected side-effects on your account. Drop by again in case we run into any further details regarding this update.
