World of Warcraft Arena Tournament - Image 1

A number of players have reported being able to inspect characters they aren't fighting against on the World of Warcraft Tournament Test Realms. Some have asked if this feature will be applied to the actual game servers.

Blizzard QA Hortus said that this is a new addition that didn't make it into the patch notes yet. He explained that players can now inspect anyone who they can not currently engage in combat with. This means that characters in sanctuary areas such as Shattrath or un-flagged characters for PVP are fair game.

This pretty much balances out the playing field making it easier for players to pick fights that they have a chance of winning. Hopefully, we'll be seeing more well thought-out features such as this when in the future.
